Representing a pivotal moment, Chembond embarks on its first joint venture with Henkel KGaA, Germany, focusing on pre-treatment chemicals (PTC). This strategic partnership marks a new chapter in our journey, bringing together two industry leaders to drive innovation and deliver unparalleled solutions in the pre-treatment chemicals sector.

Chembond reaches new heights with key developments: acquiring Drewtreat Chemicals Limited, partnering with Ashland Inc. USA for water treatment chemicals (WTC) in a joint venture, and founding the Chembond Children's Center in Bolsar, Maharashtra. These initiatives signify our dedication to growth, innovation, and social responsibility, solidifying our position as an influential force in the industry.

Maintaining momentum, Chembond's Nalagarh, Himachal Pradesh factory becomes operational, we celebrate the launch of our Industrial Biotechnology activities, and also commission our Dudhwada, Gujarat factory.

Maintaining our stronghold in the industry, Chembond expands its water technologies business portfolio by introducing Water Treatment Equipments (WTE). During this period, we also launch our Animal Health and Nutrition business and successfully commence manufacturing activities at our plant in Ranipet, Tamil Nadu.

Chembond partners with Calvatis GmbH, Germany, to provide specialized cleaning and hygiene solutions for the dairy, food & beverage, and brewing industries. Additionally, Chembond exits its joint venture with Henkel KGaA, Germany in this year. In 2016, Chembond enters a partnership with ND Industries, Inc., Michigan, USA, focusing on industrial adhesives. Continuing on this path in 2017, Chembond reaffirms its commitment to the water business by acquiring shares held by its JV partner Solenis Inc., USA and making Chembond Water Technologies its wholly owned subsidiary. This year also marks the formation of step-down subsidiary Chembond Water Technologies (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd. Simultaneously, Chembond strategically acquires Phiroze Sethna Pvt. Ltd. and its wholly owned subsidiary, Gramos Chemicals India Pvt. Ltd., enhancing its offerings in automotive sealants and solutions. Chembond re-enters the Metal Treatment Chemicals (MTC) sector, further diversifying its portfolio in 2018. In 2019, Chembond achieves a significant milestone with its listing on the National Stock Exchange (NSE), strengthening its position in the market. To close our this successful period, step-down subsidiary Chembond Water Technologies (Thailand) Co. Ltd. is established as well marking expansions in Indian and International markets.
